Blogs have become very popular the last several years. Blogs can be found on just about any subject or interest category. Blogs can allow people to share ideas. Some blogs allow the readers to participate and comment on specific blog posts (articles). Other sites do not allow this. Some very popular blogs have thousands of readers every day. So if you have interest in growing your village via blogs, there are a few different methods you can use.
1) There is a site called www.varoloreviews.com. You can submit your own blog post (article) to contactus@varolo.com. You will get your own blog post promoting your Varolo village. Be sure to include your custom link in the blog post. See the site for examples of what others have done. The longer your blog post is the better because it has a great chance to get picked up by search engines.
2) There is a site called www.varoloislegit.com. There are a few articles talking about Varolo. This site allows users to comment on the blog posts. In your comment you can put your custom link for others to see and click on. If you have another blog or place where you promote Varolo, you may want to add that as well (perhaps on a separate post or comment).
3) You can setup your own blog. Many Varolo villagers have done this already. It isn’t difficult to find them if you search on Google. You don’t have to be SUPER technical, but if you have no idea where to start it may be a bit challenging. There are lots of sites that offer blogs. Some free some that cost a few dollars each month. Blogspot.com is a popular site for blogs. This will allow you to setup your own blog and write to it whenever you want.
Remember that the key to a blog is not having the blog, but getting people to go out and readh it. So once you have a blog site, you may want to use one of the other “grow your village” methods but draw people out to your blog site where you can educate them on Varolo and its benefits.
If you do build your own blog, you may want to embed the various Varolo videos that are available on YouTube. YouTube allows you to copy and paste an embed code into your blog pages and then your visitors can watch the videos right from your site.
These links will lead you to the YouTube videos where you can click on the share and embed buttons and get the codes to copy and paste into your blog posts. If you can’t see the links, right click on the video and select “copy video URL” or similar feature.
4) Another way to use blogs to promote your village is to find blog sites on the Internet that will allow you to post comments. Perhaps one of the best ways to identify these sites is by going through the list of top sites that refer new users to Varolo looking for blog sites. The full list is here: http://blog.varolo.com/featured/top-referring-sites/
You may also want to do searches for blogs that would attract people that would find value with Varolo. Women looking to work from home, coupon cutting moms, college students looking to make some extra cash, etc. Search for these blogs and find ones that allow you to post comments. Make your comments relative to the article or blog post. Most of these sites have monitors that can approve or deny your comments. So on a coupon site you may say something like, “I love coupons and discounts too. I found a site that has helped me save money on my shopping: [put custom link here].” When you put in comments, there is often times a place to put your website which is where you can place your custom link. But remember many people will not click on that link. Try to put it in the comments but that often takes some genuine thought about the blog post itself.
